The Rajya Rani are simply a series of daily and tri-weekly express trains, launched to improve connectivity between the state capital and major cities of the state. The first train in the series of Rajya Rani Trains was the Mysore-Bangalore Rajya Rani Express that started its service on July 01 2011. The Rajya Rani Express series today serves states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh ad Bihar.

The Rajya Rani was aimed at improving travelling options within the city and thus the trains run from the state capital to various cities of tourism, business and pilgrimage importance, within the state. The trains were announced in the Railway Budget of 2011 and were launched and functioning by the end of March in 2012. Some of the most popular trains of the series are 16557/58 Mysore-Bangalore Rajya Rani of Karnataka, 11003/04 Dadar-Sawanthwadi Road RajyaRani Express of Maharashtra, 12567/68 Saharsa-Patna RajyaRani of Bihar, 22453/54 Meerut City-Lucknow RajyaRani of Uttar Pradesh and 16349/50 Trivandrum-Nilambur Road Rajya Rani of Kerala.

On its respective routes, the Rajya Rani Express passes through many major cities of the state so that citizens and tourists can benefit from the facility of faster commute within the state. 11004/03 Rajya Rani Express Coach Position, Fare and Seat Map

Looking for updates related to coach position, seat map and fare of Rajya Rani express? If yes, read on to the following and you will come to know of the same. The train runs in between Mumbai Central junction and Sawantwadi road junction across the country. As of now, it operates from both ends with train numbers 11003 and 11004. The train has 15 coaches available in total as of now including second tier AC, third tier AC, sleeper class and general unreserved class of coaches. Considering the fare, in general quota, it is Rs. 1,370 for 2A, Rs. 955 for 3A, Rs. 350 for SL and Rs. 185 for GN. In tatkal quota, the fare will change to Rs. 1,790 for 2A, Rs. 1,270 for 3A, and Rs. 450 for SL. From a child, the fare charged will be Rs. 660 for 2A, Rs. 455 for 3A, Rs. 165 for SL and Rs. 95 for GN. In child tatkal quota, the fare will be Rs. 1,050 for 2A, Rs. 725 for 3A, and Rs. 265 for SL. There is no pantry car attached with the train and if desired, people can seek for fresh and quality e-catering food meal services too.
