Another Feather in Indian Railways Cap: Tiger Express

The Indian Railways have come up with a very beautiful and luxury voyage along with IRCTC. This is known as the Tiger Express, and it is a Rajdhani type tourist train, which is a luxury one that takes one to a journey through the deep and dense forests of Madhya Pradesh, which are famous for Tiger reservations. This is an all air-conditioned train, which takes passengers through Bandhavgarh Forest and Kanha Forest in Madhya Pradesh along with Dhuadhar Falls, which are located at Jabalpur.

This is a five-night and six-day journey, and the journey is truly a luxurious one. This train has AC first class and AC second class coaches, and the tariff depends on the number of berths present in a single coach.

The Tariff Plan to Book a Berth

In AC first class for a single occupancy, a person needs to pay Rs 49,500 and for double and triple occupancies, the booking rates are Rs 45,500 and Rs 44,900 respectively. In the case of AC two tier coaches, the tariff rate is a bit lower. For a single occupancy, one need to pay Rs 43,500 and for double and triple occupancies, one needs to pay Rs 39,000 and Rs 38,000 respectively. But these fares are strictly for Indian citizens. In case of people coming from abroad; the tourists have to pay Rs 4000 per person extra for the jungle safaris.

The Entire Itinerary

On day one, the train starts from the Safdarjung railway station in Delhi at 3pm in the afternoon and then reaches Katni the next morning. After reaching Katni, the organizers help the tourists to check in the resort booked for them in Bandhavgarh. Then in the evening, the jungle safari is slotted. Next day, they take you to Kanha Reserve Forest and go to the hotel check-in. Then there is another evening safari slotted for the tourists within the jungle of Kanha. Next morning, there is another jungle safari on the Mukki zone of the Kanha forest, and the rest of the day, one can spend in the jungle and then at the hotel. On the 5th day of the journey, the train takes you to Jabalpur, which reaches there by noon. Post lunch, one can go for the Dhuadhar Falls in Bedaghat. On the evening, tourists have to board back on the train and start their return journey to Delhi again.

The important things included in the package

  • All the hotel accommodations (air-conditioned rooms) in the three-star hotel.
  • All the transports will be provided, which is necessary for sightseeing.
  • All the bookings for the jungle safaris and one need nothing to pay extra.
  • All the meals in the train and the hotels are included in the package. They provide the breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner along with packaged drinking waters.
  • There is no refund if one fails to attend the full journey and interrupts it in the middle.

Go ahead for a luxurious tiger sightseeing in India! Happy Journey!

Travelling in Summers in no more a Hassle

Summers are the time when you can see maximum rush on the railway stations. More and more people plan their vacations during the summer seasons in correspondence to school holidays. However, people find it a pain to book tickets for trains especially if you have not planned your vacations in advance. Though many airlines give special deals and discounts on the air fares but still trains are the most preferred mode of transport between cities in India.

Indian Railways have been the backbone of India for more than 100 years. Many people still depend on Indian railways to travel from one place to another. The reason being it is still a cheaper way of travelling with various benefits like senior citizen benefit or handicap benefit. If you are travelling with children you don’t have to pay for their full tickets. Apart from being cheap, they are also very convenient because of the various travel classes in the train. The more you pay the better you travel.

Apart from travelling to up hills in North, many people even travel towards the Central zone of India which is Maharashtra and Konkan region. Hence, the Central Railways have decided to run special trains during the summer season. This is done to clear maximum rush and more and more people could travel during these months. In fact, Central Railways were the one to announce the summer special trains in 2016 for Maharashtra. These trains will run in the month of April, May and June. Below is the list of trains that will run between different states of Maharashtra and the surrounding states and would also cover the Konkan line from Mumbai to Goa.

A good thing is that you can at least book your tickets online and don’t have to trouble yourself anymore with standing in queues and waiting for your turn. This was a problem about a decade ago but with Indian Railways joining hands with IRCTC, they developed a user friendly online portal that helps you booking, cancelling and rescheduling of train tickets with utmost convenience and ease. If you are travelling towards Maharashtra or Konkan region, the IRCTC website even offers you with the travel packages, hotel booking, bus ticket booking and car renting services. It has definitely become one stop shop for all your travelling needs.

How to reach Ambience Mall via metro?

Apart from being the capital city of our country, Delhi has a lot more to offer to us in its platter of culture, beauty and trendy places to look out for. Even after all these years, people from our country also end up visiting the city to see the beautiful monuments, gardens and the magnificent malls that this city houses. From a mega village like Hauz Khas Village to the mesmerizing Purina Quila, Delhi is a home to a bit of everything put in one bag.  Talking of malls, Ambience does top the list of favourite malls in Delhi due to its classiness and ever bustling crowd.

nearest metro station to Ambience Mall in Gurgaon

How to Get There

The only problem with Ambience mall is it’s far away location from the main city. While all the other popular malls like Citywalk and DLF happen to be in the Southern and Central Delhi, Ambience is situated on the outskirts of Delhi, in Gurgaon but thanks to the efficient working of the Delhi metro, it is not much of a trouble to go to Ambience, no matter where ever you are coming from. The nearest metro station to Ambience Mall in Gurgaon is the Qutab Minar Metro station which is situated on the yellow line that connects the entire southern district of the city. It is also one of the fastest operating metro lines and runs between North Campus and Huda City Centre.

The metro station remains clean since it is the main metro station near the major historical site Qutub Minar and tourists frequent this place very often. To get from the metro station to the mall, one needs to take a taxi or cab, whichever suits you. It is a ten-minute ride and the view in this area is beautiful with the Aravali forest area covering the sides. Travelling via metro is also comfortable summers, since it keeps you away from the sun, being an underground system and it is also air-conditioned throughout.
