Tumkur Railway Station (codenamed TK) is located in Tumkur district of Karnataka, India. The station falls under the Tumkur taluk and is the suburban halt for the trains on the Chennai-Hubli railway line. The authorities renovated this station in 2009, making it one of the modernized railway stations during the tenure of former Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee. It connects well to various parts of the country.

South Western Railways expect Tumkur station to be upgraded to be a terminal soon with capacity to serve 100,000 passengers in the near future.
