Whitefield Railway Station (codenamed WFD) is one of the suburban stations in the Bangalore division. The station is located in Whitefield, part of Greater Bangalore and is the suburban halt for over 9 express trains on the Bangalore – Howrah railway line. There are express and super-fast trains that cross Whitefield station daily to major cities like Tirupathi, Chennai, Mysore, Kakinada, and Kanyakumari.
