It lies on national highway NH 58 which connects Delhi, Haridwar, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Roorkee via road network. From Delhi, buses there are direct buses for Rishikesh and Haridwar. If you would not get bus for Badrinath at Rishikesh bus station, you can take bus for Rudraprayag, Chamoli or Joshimath and then take early bus next day early in the morning for Badrinath Town.
