The toilets in Mahamana Express are also redesigned with modern facilities such as platform-style washbasins. The Mahamana Express made its inaugural run on January 25 and operates three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The train departs from Varanasi at 6:35 PM and reaches Delhi at 8:25 AM the next day. From Delhi, it runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering convenient connectivity for travelers between these major cities.

Some of the important stoppages of Mahamana Express include Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Sultanpur, and Jaunpur. It is also notable that this train runs on the fully electrified section between Moradabad and Ghaziabad, ensuring smoother and faster operations compared to conventional routes.

With these upgraded features and modern interiors, the fare of Mahamana Express is slightly higher—around 15% more than regular trains. However, there is no fare increase for unreserved class coaches, ensuring affordability for general passengers. This balanced pricing approach allows passengers to experience enhanced comfort without a significant financial burden.
