From the top of Mehrangarh fort, the city appears to be blue. Udaipur is the city of lakes and is also referred to as the Venice of the east. Chittorgarh has once been one of the strongest bastions of Rajput rulers. It still has the fort, Vijay stambh (Victory tower) symbolizing the grand history of Rajput kingdom of Chittorgarh. Sawai Madhopur is mainly famous for its Ranthambore fort and Ranthambore national park. The national park has a sizable tiger population.
