The waiter places a food order request by entering the PNR number or the name or number of the train. This request will be sent to our back-end team for confirmation.

After matching the PNR number and successfully verifying the passenger details, the order is accepted for further processing.

Travelkhana sends an order notification to the partner restaurant at the corresponding station. Another notification will be sent to the customer to inform them that the order has been accepted.

What is the minimum booking amount to place an order?

How do I know if my order is confirmed?

After successfully placing an order, you will receive a confirmation SMS on your mobile phone number, as well as your email ID. This includes details about your order, as well as an OTP that must be shared with the delivery person during the delivery of your food.

My ticket is not confirmed. Can I order food?

Yes! Even if your ticket is not confirmed and you are traveling as a standby passenger, you can still order food. But we do not deliver food to unconfirmed tickets. You can order groceries through any confirmed passenger ticket or RAC. Don’t forget to be present when your order is delivered.

How to Check the Status of My Order?

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please call our customer service representatives at 8800313131 and provide the reason for cancellation. Our team will be happy to help you.

My train is late. Can I receive my order?

We always follow the status of your train to make sure we don’t lose your order. However, if your train runs more than two hours late, one of our representatives will call you to confirm whether you still want the order. If the train reaches your station outside our service hours, from 7 AM to 10 PM, we will automatically cancel the order. We will notify you about the cancellation and start the refund process if you paid online.

When can I get a refund for canceled orders?

If you cancel your order at least 24 hours before the delivery time, we will refund the eligible balance to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. We will deduct the applicable cancellation fee before processing the refund.

I booked 5 tickets for the PNR. But only 3 of them are confirmed. Can I order food in this case?

Yes, anyway. Partially confirmed tickets are also valid for ordering food.

I travel on Rajdhani Express. Can I order food through Travelkhana?

Yes, passengers can use our services on all types of trains, including Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Duronto, Garib Rath, Jan Shatabdi, Gatimaan, Mail, Express, Superfast, and Special trains. As long as you have a confirmed reservation on any train, you can order food at any time.
