When and Where is the Food Served?
- Swaraj Express plies between Mumbai Central and J&K. (J&K is Jammu and Kashmir)
- Lunch packets are served at Surat or Vadodra. Dinner is served at Bhawani/ Mandi/ Kota. Breakfast is at Ambala/ Ludhiana Cantt and lunch is provided at Pathankt Cantt. This is towards the onward journey.
- Train # is 12472.
- Return journey Swaraj Express is denoted by the train number 12471. It comes from Jammu and Kashmir to land at Mumbai.
- Lunch is served at Pathankot Cantt. Dinner is served at New Delhi. Breakfast and lunch packets are served at Ratlam and Vadodra/ Surat respectively.
- New Delhi has a lip smacking array of dishes to choose from. Regular thali comprises of Paneer veg, dal fry, rice, butter rotis -4 in number, 1 sweet, salad and pickle.
