During a long train journey to Northeast India, I experienced one such story that changed the way I looked at travel, work, and life itself.

After settling into my seat, I noticed an elderly man sitting quietly near the window. His face carried the signs of a lifetime of hard work, and he appeared reserved, almost unwilling to engage in conversation. While working on my laptop and charging my phone nearby, I worried that I might have inconvenienced him.

As our journey came to an end, the elderly man offered me a cup of tea and wished me success in following my own dreams.

That brief train ride taught me something no guidebook ever could.

Life often asks people to choose between responsibility and passion. While responsibilities cannot always be ignored, it’s equally important not to let personal dreams disappear completely.

Travel is not only about visiting new destinations. It is about discovering new perspectives, meeting remarkable people, and learning from experiences that stay with us forever.
